Mediator Christy L. Foley, Esq. has been mediating since 2009. She's been working in the online environment since 2010. Her long history in the field gives her the skills necessary to mediate your dispute effectively in the online environment.
Ms. Foley was appointed by the Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court to the Florida Mediator Ethics Advisory Committee ("MEAC") in 2016. From 2018 to 2019, she serves as Chairwoman of MEAC.
Ms. Foley also serves as the American Bar Association's ("ABA") Vice Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee for General Practice & Solo attorneys.
Additionally, Ms. Foley serves on the American Bar Association's Publications Review Board for Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR").
Plus, she serves on the Executive Council of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the Florida Bar.
Ms. Foley has given presentations on mediation ethics and conflict resolution throughout Florida, including two presentations at Florida's Annual Dispute Resolution Conference ("DRC").
Ms. Foley has been certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a circuit civil mediator and a county court mediator. She also served as a mediator in the New York Supreme Court of Queens County.
Ms. Foley graduated cum laude from the City University of New York School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in both New York and Florida. She also manages an entertainment and small business law firm in Central Florida called The Law Office of Christy L. Foley, where she focuses on contract and intellectual property disputes.
In addition to mediating disputes online, Christy mediates disputes in person, serving as a mediator for CPLS, PA in downtown Orlando.
